Project: New business launch
Objective: To launch a new IT solutions consultancy
Audience: Cororates and medium size enterprises
Issues: The business was in a well populated market with little differentiation. They needed to try and create a clear identity and separation from competitors. Different partners and stakeholders within the business were unable to agree on the positioning for the business.
Involvement: Facilitated meetings and workshops involving all board members to achieve common agreement on business positioning. Drafted a sales massaging document that clarified the brand positioning and the customer benefit proposition and helped the board to fine tune this into an agreed statement of their sales proposition. Translated the positioing into a creative concept that reflected their hands-on approach to tackling difficult problems. Wrote all copy for the corporate brochure, web site, direct mail campaigs and sales presentations. Helped the company prioritise and plan its first years sales and marketing plan.
Outcome: Board reached common agreement on their sales proposition. All staff had a clear understanding of the company’s benefit proposition.
Company successfuly launched and was over target for first year sales.
