Useful Hints & Tips

If you want to influence how your people think, feel and behave, make sure your communication is never prescriptive. Always put people and their individuality first - accepting that they have different motivations and personalities of their own. Remind them that to share common goals and values, people in a business need to work as a team with common ways of working and offering a consistent presentation of the brand to customers - i.e. a consistent culture. But make sure you give them all the support they could want to make the necessary changes.

Whitbread plc
Following our facilitation of workshops
on behaviour change, for the board
of Premier Inn, we were asked to develop a programme to help communicate
the new 'Being Purple' culture to all staff; and subsequently rolled this
out into a plan for the whole of Whitbread plc.
